Review
The Steinberg V-STACK 1.2 program is an instrument rack that lets you use up to sixteen VST instruments and it does not even require an additional sequencing program. The V-STACK virtual instrument rack is perfect for those needing a program for live use on a stage or if it just intended as an extension for existing VST system link networks without needing more sequencers.
CPU power of a computer is not maxed out by the V-STACK PROGRAM and it is overall an efficient platform that integrates the power of VST instruments. The program also lets you add up to five insert effects and send up to eight effects through an audio channel, as well as up to four EQ bands for each channel and up to four subgroups.
The user interface is very appealing to look at because of the great graphics. It is also easy to use and is clearly setup in a way that the user can control and monitor several things at once. Master keyboard functions can also be determined and that way the user can quickly perform functions like transposing, layering and splitting of the VSTi. The V-STACK software also supports the user of a remote control. |
- Efficient, good user interface
